Day 1: Moshi
Beautiful half day horse riding at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Transfer to Aishi Protea hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire National Park.
On the way we will stop for a visit to a coffee plantation and lunch.
Tarangire is well known for its large elephant population. We will arrive on
time for a late afternoon game drive.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Full day game drive with highly experienced guide who will show animals and explain about wildlife, plants and culture.
Day 4: Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater
Drive to Lake Manyara part of the Great Rift Valley. You will have the chance to see lions, elephants and hippos. Drive to Ngorongoro Crater, formed by an extinct volcano. The site of the accommodation will offer a spectacular view of the crater.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
Full day spent exploring the unique short-grass plains of the crater’s floor, a very unique experience.
Day 6: Olduvai Gorge and Serengeti National Park
Drive to Olduvai Gorge and stop over for a guided visit to archaeological site, The drive will continue to Serengeti National Park, among the most famous national parks in the world. Game drive during the afternoon. Stay overnight at Mbuzi Mawe luxury tented camp.
Day 7: Serengeti national Park
Full day spent in Serengeti national park in search of the “big five”, plus a multitude of other animals. Stay overnight at Mbuzi Mawe Tented camp.
Day 8: Moshi
After breakfast departure and arrival in Moshi for the early evening. During the drive you will have the possibility to appreciate the beauty and majesty of the Savannah landscape. Stay overnight at Olpopongi Maasai cultural village.
Option 1: Around Kilimanjaro – Participate to local sustainability projects and enjoy trekking
Day 9-12: Kilimanjaro
Four days spent around Kilimanjaro
for trekking, horse riding, mountain walks and visit to the many local
communities and centers involved in sustainable tourism projects.
In the afternoon of day 12 you will drive to Kilimanjaro airport for your
flight back home.
Option 2: Cultural tour
Day 9: Ng’iresi and Longido Cultural tourism programs
Spend all day with local communities and learn about their culture and several aspects of their day to day life, including how they prepare food, how they cultivate their land, few basic words of the local languages, etc.
Day 10: Zanzibar – Beach relaxation
After breakfast, drive to the
airport for a short flight to Zanzibar.
Transfer to the hotel and relax. In the late afternoon you will be able to
explore the colorful markets and streets, the museums and buildings, the
Persian baths and much more of the fascinating Stone Town.
Day 11: Zanzibar
You can spend all day relaxing on the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar or go scuba diving or for a special excursion to watch Dolphins. Otherwise you can go for a spice tour looking for spices that once where the major business of Zanzibar.
Day 12: Kilimanjaro / Dar es salaam Airport
Morning spent in Stone Town. Around lunch time you will go back to the airport for a flight back to Kilimanjaro/Dar es salaam international airport, in time for your flight back home.

Day 1: Arrival/Karama Lodge
Collection from the airport where a High peaks expeditions representative will meet and assist before you board the shuttle bus for Arusha. You will be meet by our representative in Arusha who will brief you on your safari before the drive to Karama Lodge where you will spend the night. The lodge is situated at the top of the lush and serene Suye Hill, a unique lodge with a rustic, yet comfortable, ambiance providing a personalized service in a relaxing atmosphere. It is a peaceful secluded respite where one can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding forest. Accommodation will be booked on bed and breakfast (BB).
Day 2: Arusha/Lake Eyasi
Depart to Lake Eyasi a mildly alkaline lake stretching for about 50km to the south-west. To the north-east the horizon is dominated by the Crater Highlands, to the north, beyond an escarpment the plains of the Serengeti. This is the homeland of the indigenous Bushmen to include the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes. Over 100 years ago when the stronger Maasai tribes moved into the Ngorongoro and Serengeti, these indigenous tribes were pushed to this lake. You will be able to visit a Bushmen village and get to enjoy a walk along the Lake shores. Meals will be served at Kisima Ngeda tented camp where you will stay for the night (FB).
Day 3: Lake Eyasi / L. Manyara
Wake up early to hunt with the Bushmen, returning to the Camp for a late breakfast. You will have a short tour of the village before you depart to Lake Manyara Park famous for its tree-climbing lions and bird-life. You are booked to stay at Lake Manyara Hotel sited on the western escarpment of the Rift Valley. The views of the lake below are spectacular and the architecture blends seamlessly with the environment. Dinner and breakfast will be at the hotel.
Day 4: Manyara /Serengeti
Leave after breakfast to Serengeti which has some of the world’s largest migratory concentration of plain game. There will be a game drive en route .Serengeti is described as one of the unique areas of the world. The 14000 sq. km terrain includes grassy plains and Savannah stretches dotted with flat-topped acacia trees. In the north, Serengeti borders with the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve and across this border two million Wildebeest trek every year in their annual search for the best grazing. You will have enough time to explore this diverse park. Accommodation will be at Seronera wildlife lodge (FB).
Day 5: Serengeti / Ngorongoro
A morning game drive in Serengeti before driving to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area a unique conservation area where Lion, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo roam in perfect safety. Accommodation will be at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. The Lodge is constructed entirely from local materials and encircled by glass offering panoramic views of the crater floor. All meals will be served in the lodge restaurant.
Day 6: Serengeti/ Arusha
Descend into the Crater floor for a game drive, picnic lunch will be served en route. Later on will depart to Arusha where you are booked to stay at Jacaranda Hotel for the night. If time permits you may explore this cosmopolitan town. Accommodation will be booked on bed and breakfast basis (BB)
