Day 1: Arrival – Kilimanjaro International airport

Pick up at Kilimanjaro International airport, transfer to Arusha town for overnight stay at Kibo Palace hotel.

Day 2. Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, drive to Tarangire to discover the giant termite mounds and baobab trees of Tarangire. This park is famous for its large elephant population, scenery and diversity of birdlife. Game drive in the park from 11:30am until 5pm. Tarangire’s wildlife includes elephant, lion, giraffe, warthog, ostrich, impala, lesser and Greater Kudus and baboon. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire river Camp, a small luxury camp situated in a beautiful acacia grove.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

Another day spent in Tarangire, with morning and evenning game drives; Eat a packed lunch in the park. Return to the Tarangire river Camp at 5pm to watch the wildlife drink from the water river located near the camp.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park

At 8am, leave Tarangire for Lake Manyara National Park. The drive to Tarangire gate is approximately one and half hour. After reaching the gate, drive for another hour to Lake Manyara. Game drive in Manyara for the rest of the day, eating a picnic lunch in the park, Wildlife commonly seen in Lake Manyara includes elephant, baboon, giraffe, hippo, flamingo, Lion, Buffalo and various water birds, At 6pm, proceed to Kirurumu tented lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater

Game drive in Lake Manyara from 7am until 9:30am. Leave for Ngorongoro after the game drive. Begin your Crater game drive at approximately 11am and spend six hours viewing wildlife. The largest unbroken caldera in the world, Ngorongoro has an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters. The crater provides a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds, The Crater’s resident wildlife includes lion, zebra, Hyena, Jackal, Bat Eared Fox cheetah, Black Rhino, hippo, Elephant, and flamingo. After your game drive, proceed to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park

Leave Ngorongoro Serena Lodge at 8:30am for Serengeti National Park. Stop at Olduvai Gorge before continuing to Serengeti National Park. Game drive in the park until reaching Serengeti Serena Lodge at 6:30pm. Species commonly seen in the Serengeti include wildebeest, cheetah, zebra, Gazelle, Spotted hyena, lion, giraffe, impala, Topi, and leopard. The Serengeti is also home to more than 540 species of birds.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drive from 6:30am until 11am. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch. Game drive again in the afternoon from 3pm until 6:30pm. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Early morning game drive from 6:30am until 11am. Return to the lodge for a hot lunch. After lunch, pack the cars and proceed to the Western Serengeti’s Mbalageti Camp. Mbalageti is a recently-opened luxury camp which sits atop a hill near the Mbalageti River. The camp’s location is ideal for safaris in June and July, when the migration is in this area. The camp features a pool, a tranquility spa, walking safaris, and breakfasts in the bush.

Day 9: Serengeti National Park

Go on another early morning game drive in the Serengeti from 6:30am until 11am. Return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon rest. Go on another game drive from 3pm until 6:30pm, returning to Mbalageti Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar

Leave Mbalageti Camp at 7.00am for a final game drive in the Serengeti. At 10:45am, fly directly to Zanzibar via Arusha. Arrive in Zanzibar at 2.00pm. Transfer to Tembo house hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring Stone town. Sight seeing and city tour will be offered.

Day 11: Zanzibar – Chumbe Island

Take the 10am boat to Chumbe and spend the rest of the day on the island. Chumbe Island Lodge, an award-winning eco-lodge, offers the only accommodations on the island, making a visit here an extremely private experience. Chumbe Island is a marine park which offers some of the best snorkeling in Zanzibar.

Day 12: Zanzibar Chumbe

Spend the day at Chumbe exploring the island’s trails and beaches.

Day 13: Chumbe to Stonetown

Depart Chumbe at 9am for Stonetown. Arrive in Stonetown at 10am and drop off your belongings at Tembo house hotel. Explore Stonetown for the day before proceeding to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam. Later connect with an international flight back to home.
