Day 1: NAIROBI
Jambo! Welcome to Africa . On arrival meet a High Peaks Expeditions representative who will escort you to your hotel. Lunch and dinner at the hotel. Nairobi Hilton Hotel
Day 2: AMBOSELI
Early morning departure through the Athi plains as you drive south to Amboseli national park located at the foothills of mount kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. Two days of game viewing in this magnificent park with a chance to photograph wildebeest, zebra, giraffe and the spectacular backdrop of mount Kilimanjaro. Stay overnight at Oltukai Lodge
Day 3: AMBOSELI
Full day game drive in Amboseli National Park. Dinner & Dinner at Oltukai Lodge.
Day 4: TARANGIRE
After breakfast depart to Tarangire national park. Arrive in time for lunch. Relax followed by late afternoon game drive. On day two morning and afternoon game viewing drive. Tarangire Sopa Lodge
Day 5: TARANGIRE
Full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Dinner & Overnight at Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: NGORONGORO CRATER
Early morning start to the Ngorongoro conservation area; host to the ‘birth place of mankind’. It is also home to the intact caldera, the Ngorongoro crater. Arrive in time for lunch. After lunch depart in a 4 wheel drive vehicle for a game drive in the crater. Stay overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge
Day 7: NGORONGORO CRATER
Enjoy more breathtaking views of the crater as the sun rises. After breakfast, descend 2000 feet below the rim of the crater for a full day of spectacular game viewing. The crater contains one of the largest concentrations of wildlife. A picnic lunch is provided followed by more game viewing before ascending the crater wall and returning to the lodge. Day 8: SERENGETI
This morning drive to Olduvai gorge for a short visit to the remains of prehistoric man-‘Nutcracker’. Continue your journey to the world’s best-known park, ‘siringet’ for endless plains of short and long grass, the Serengeti is well known for its large prides of lion, cheetah, packs of wild dog and for nearly a million or so wildebeest. Two days in the Serengeti plains with game viewing drives allowing you maximum opportunity to photograph abundant wildlife in this seemingly limitless game reserve. The optional dawn hot air balloon safari will give you bird’s eye view of the Serengeti plains before landing for a champagne breakfast. Stay overnight Serengeti Serena Lodge
Day 9: SERENGETI
Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Dinner & Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.
Day 10: LAKE MANYARA
After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your flight to lake Manyara arrive in time for lunch. Time to relax before your afternoon game drive. Next morning set out on an early morning game viewing drive followed by the breakfast. Lake Manyara is home to numerous birds, elephants, tree-climbing-lions, hippos and buffalo. Day 11: LAKE MANYARA
