Arrive at Zanzibar Island meet our driver and transfer to Stone town The Stone Town of Zanzibar is a fine example of the Swahili coastal trading towns of East Africa. It retains its urban fabric and townscape virtually intact and contains many fine buildings that reflect its particular culture, which has brought together and homogenized disparate elements of the cultures of Africa, the Arab region, India, and Europe over more than a millennium. After breakfast, pick you up and depart for the Stone Tow tour Stone Town is a very lively place where you’ll find a mixture of Arabic, African, Indian and European cultures living comfortably together. After breakfast our driver will come to your hotel for the pickup and take you to Fumba where you will take dhow and start the trip by going to the Sandbank, Safari Blue trip is a full day sailing around mangroves and snorkeling along Menai bay, which is one of the best coral reefs in Zanzibar. The main activities on this day are visiting Kwale Island, sandbank relaxing, swimming, and snorkeling. The underwater world at Menai bay is unbelievably spectacular. You will witness countless colorful fishes and other sea creatures that survive among the coral reefs and underwater plants which together form the barrier reef ecosystem in the bay you will enjoy the fresh seafood barbeque; Octopus, Lobsters, squids, Calamaris, and Fishes. Breakfast at your hotel depart for prison island, At Prison Island, you will be able to See Aldabra Giant Tortoise, Peacocks, Dik-dik (species of small Antelope), Prison ruins, etc. An interesting fact about the Aldabra Giant tortoise is that it can live for more than 200 years. The Oldest one at Prison Island is 197 years old. They are one of the world’s longest-living animals. Prison Ruins: This is a building that was erected in 1983 to host the Central Prison of Zanzibar. The Jail construction Started in 1893, in the same year, they had been a Cholera Epidemic in Egypt, and shortly afterward Bubonic Plague in Bombay.
