Itinerary
Day 1 :
Dar es Salaam/Mafia Island
Your journey starts at Dar es Salaam domestic airport with a flight to Mafia Island. Upon
arrival at Mafia Airport, you will be collected and transferred to your hotel located on the
wonderful coast of Mafia.
Dinner and Overnight at Lodge.
Day 2 :
Mafia Island/Chole Island
Breakfast at your Resort and depart for a boat ride to Chole Island, Chole Island is one of
the oldest inhabited islands in the Mafia archipelago. It has a long, varied history dating
back to the 12th Century and was once the capital of the Mafia, the tour will take about 3 o
4hours, back at the Lodge for lunch and relaxing at the beach.
Meals and overnight at the Resort/Lodge
Breakfast at the resort later in the afternoon after lunch option to depart for Marimbani
Sandbank this is the perfect place to relax and find comfort on the soothing sand of
Marimbani Sandbank. With just a 20-minute boat trip away from the public beach, you’ll
arrive at the half-moon-shaped sand bank that is approximately 700 meters long during
low tide. This treasure is only accessible during low tide because the ocean waters
magically submerge it during the high tide as if it was only a dream.

Day 4 :
Full days at the Mafia
Day 5 :
Full days at the Mafia
Full-day leisure at the resort with the option of water sports like Big Game Fishing,
Parasailing, Kayak, Dhow Sailing, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Kite Surfing, Water Skiing, and
Jet Skiing. There are 2 diving centers on the island, but I decided to go with Big Blu, opting for a 2-day diving package: 2 afternoon dives on the first day and then 2-afternoon dives and a night dive on the second day.
Meals and overnight at the Lodge/Resort
Breakfast at the lodge then transfer to Mafia Airport for flight back Dar es Salaam, arrive
Dar es Salaam meet our driver and transfer to your Hotel.
