Tanzania is an East African country known for its vast desert. These include the Serengeti National Park, the “Big Five” safari mecca (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino) and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to the highest mountains in Africa. Along the coast is the Arabian-looking tropical island of Zanzibar and the Mafia, which has water parks that are home to whale sharks and coral reefs.
