Trip Overview

The northern circuit is, without doubt, the most popular iconic, and easily accessible safari circuit. Itinerary

Pick up from Dar es Salaam airport. Transfer to hotel Dar es Salaam is the largest city and economic capital of Tanzania. Located in a quiet bay off the Indian Ocean coast,
the city has developed into an economic importance to become a prosperous center of the entire East African region. Its bustling harbor is the main port in Tanzania.

Pick up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and drive to Nyerere National Park. You will have lunch at the Camp, this journey will take about 3 hours through the most unexplored and
untouched areas in Tanzania. In the afternoon after lunch embark on a boat safari, where you’ll admire hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.

After breakfast Leave the Tented Camp this morning with a packed lunch in hand ready for a full-day game drive in Nyerere National Park which takes a day. You will be expecting to see wild animals like wild dogs, Sable antelopes, black rhinoceros, Nile crocodile, hippos along the banks of the Rufiji River, Cape buffalo, hartebeest, and eland. Picnic lunches and drinks will be served in the wilderness before heading back to camp for dinner and overnight.

After early breakfast departs from Nyerere park and drives to Morogoro with lunch boxes, you will cross the Park with a game drive on the way to Morogoro, Option stop at Mvuha village, Matombo Market, and a school visit at Matombo village. Late evening arrives Morogoro for overnight.

Historically, Iringa was a center of colonial administration. During the German occupation, the German military constructed the town as a fortified defense against marauding Hehe tribal warriors intent on driving them out of the region. Gangilonga Rock, a site just outside of the town, is a legendary spot where the Hehe chief at that time, Chief Mkwawa, met his people and decided on how to fight the Germans. Iringa was also the site of several battles during the First and Second World Wars and the Commonwealth War Graves are located just outside of town

Ruaha National Park in the center of Tanzania takes its name from the Hehe word for ‘river.’ The eponymous Great Ruaha River serves as a lifeline for the park’s wildlife. Leasure breakfast and then depart to Udzungawa Mountain National Park lunch on the way, Udzungwa is the largest and with the most biodiversity and a chain of a dozen large forest-swathed mountains that rise majestically from the flat coastal scrub of eastern Tanzania. Known collectively as the Eastern Arc Mountains, this archipelago of isolated massifs has also been dubbed the African Galapagos for its treasuretrove of endemic plants and animals, most familiarly being the delicate African violet.

After an early breakfast, collect your packed lunch boxes and depart to Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
On arrival, the driver‘s guide will transfer you to the starting point of the hike. This is a hike through the beautiful forests and landscape scenery up to an amazing waterfall. During hiking with a professional guide, you will learn about various trees used for traditional healing and others poisonous, and the view of the largest Tanzania sugarcane plantation (Kilombero Sugarcane Valley) from the waterfall is just incredible.

After breakfast, early breakfast departs for Mikumi national Park with a collection of Packe lunch, the drive will take about 4to5 to hours drive on the tarmac road, The open lands and wildlife of the Mkata floodplain, the center of Mikumi, are often compared to the most famous landscapes of the Serengeti. At the end of the dry season, swimming pools, including the hippo pool, serve as a magnet for wildlife, and large herds of elephants and buffaloes visit these sites. the cloud. Early morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, after the morning game drive in Mikumi your driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Saadani National Park. Arrive for lunch and spend some time at your leisure or head to the beach before a sunset game drive.

Get up early in the morning for the game drive at sunrise and then return to the breakfast at the camp. You will then take a boat trip to the Wami River. You will have the opportunity to see different hippos, crocodiles, and seabirds. Then travel back to the camp for lunch and leisure. After breakfast at the camp depart to Lushoto, this leafy highland town is nestled in a fertile valley at about 1200m, surrounded by pines and eucalyptus mixed with banana plants and other tropical foliage. It’s in the center of the western Usambara and makes an ideal base for hikes into the surrounding hills. Lunch at the hotel then option short walk here looking out for huge trees, wildflowers, and the black and white Colobus monkey

After breakfast, a brief view of the escarpment then drives to Marangu Marangu Nestled in the foothills of Africa's highest mountain, Marangu offers a fascinating glimpse into
the life of an exotic village, Tanzania, and the Chaga people who once endured a brutal Masai invasion using a tunnel. Arrive for lunch and late evening depart for Chaga museum.

In the morning at 8:30, you will be met by your driver-guide at the hotel, and then you will embark on Arusha national park for a wildlife safari and nature walk. The 137 square kilometer park offers multiple terrains including open savannahs, Acacia Scrublands, Afromontane clouds, rain forests, and Afro-Alpine vegetation similar to that of Mount Kilimanjaro. In addition, there are several alkaline lakes as well as the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater. Picnic lunch inside the park and proceeding with afternoon game drive.

Breakfast at the Hotel and depart for Walking Safari inside the park, the walking safari gives you a whole new and unique perspective of the park and is super exciting! The aromas and sounds of the African bush are the best experiences on foot. Here you will walk with wild, free-roaming animals in their natural environment. Later drive to Tarangire National Park for game drive, Tarangire is one of the most seasonal parks in northern Tanzania, with many migratory movements within the larger Tarangire ecosystem.

Today, you’ll enjoy a full day of wildlife watching in Tarangire National Park with a lunch box, 550 native species of birds, zebras, giraffes, dwarf mongooses, warthogs, waders, Thompson’s gazelles, and more. The park also has some of the most beautiful trees we have ever seen. Giraffes are about 14 feet tall, but they are great at camouflaging to look like trees.

After breakfast, then head west from Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park, which offers magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley Wall. The first encounter will likely be the spotting of large baboon troops. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions. You will visit Lake Manyara, an alkaline soda lake that is home to an incredible number of birdlife that thrives in its salt water. A pink flamingo bends over and grazes over thousands of colored spots against the gray minerals on the lake shore. Yellow-billed storks flutter and cork under the heat winds rising from the heights, and herons flutter their wings in the sunny sky. Even reluctant birdwatchers will find something to watch and admire in the national park. Hippos can also be spotted. Packed lunches are served at a picnic area.

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti. It's a long and bumpy road that will take you about 4-5 hours of fascinating game on the route. You'll be driving up the crater highlands towards the vast plains of Serengeti, stopping at the viewpoint of the Crater. Picnic lunch will be saved before you check in the park for an afternoon drive. After catching the sunset, you will proceed to Hotel/Camp/Lodge overnight stay with game drive enroot.

After breakfast, you leave early in the morning for the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grassy areas that allow excellent observation of wildlife. The Serengeti is Tanzania’s oldest national park and one of the oldest ecosystems on Earth. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely untouched for millions of years. While the Serengeti boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for its annual great migration and the presence of big cats, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as an incredible, endless plain. A large number of wildebeest; accompanied by a large number of zebras and antelopes, move annually in constant search for fresh pasture. The exact timing of migration depends entirely on the annual precipitation pattern. Picnic lunch will be provided and proceed with game drive till later evening.

You wake up early this morning and have breakfast. It then descends to the Ngorongoro Crater, home to almost every wildlife native to East Africa, including the rare black rhinoceros. The crater has the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet. It features a river, several swamps, and a soda lake that looks like steam from above, full of flamingos, forest, and open plains. The large bull elephants living here have extremely large fangs due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and grasses. Picnic lunch inside the park then proceed with a game drive on the way to Karatu for overnight.

Departure

After breakfast, option Mto wa Mbu for a cultural tour. Or drive to Arusha at your hotel Mto Wa Mbu Village has a very active cultural program that seeks to show visitors the traditional way of life of the villagers through various activities and also a range of community projects that are in place. You can visit top spots in the area, taste Tanzanian foods and experience authentic cultural interaction. Lunch at the local restaurants then drive to Arusha and drop off at Kilimanjaro international airport.
