Our 8 days Safari is concentrating on remote and beautiful National Parks that include Saadani National Park, the park where you can enjoy both the large, deserted beaches and the wildlife. Part of the famous Southern circuit National Park, the trip will include Mikumi, and Nyerere National Park, and you will experience a nice different attraction in those parks where you will have a chance to enjoying Boat and walking safari during the tour, you will also see the beauty of the scenery on the way and meet some local people on your short stops from point to point. The wildlife and birds are prolific in Nyerere and Mikumi so prepare to be wowed and have your camera or binoculars ready at all times.

Itinerary

Pick up from Dar es Salaam airport. Transfer to hotel Dar es Salaam is the largest city and economic capital of Tanzania. Located in a quiet bay off the Indian Ocean coast, the city has developed into an economic importance to become a prosperous center of the entire East African region. Its bustling harbor is the main port in Tanzania.

After the breakfast drive to saadani National Park, lunch at camp in Saadani the Saadani National Park is home to a variable mix of both marine and mainland flora and fauna. The vegetation in the park is unique and includes mangrove forests around the winding Wami River and ocean, clumps of palm trees, coral reefs in the Indian Ocean, short and tall-grass savannah, and the harsh black
cotton plains. Arrive Saadani lunch and depart for the afternoon game drive in the park.

After breakfast depart for boat riding at Wami river, Saadani Boat Safari; Boating safari in Saadani national park is a real adventure. Riding a boat on the Wami river and watching hippos and crocodiles in close vicinity will bring you a sense of real African safari. This boat safari offers the guest privilege to enjoy safari and beach holidays at the same time. After the picnic lunch proceeds with the game drive inside the Park.

After breakfast, early breakfast departs for Mikumi national Park with a collection of Packe lunch, the drive will take about 4to5 to hours drive on the tarmac road, The open lands and wildlife of the Mkata floodplain, the center of Mikumi, are often compared to the most famous landscapes of the Serengeti. At the end of the dry season, swimming pools, including the hippo pool, serve as a magnet for wildlife, and large herds of elephants and buffaloes visit these sites. the cloud.You will arrive at Mikumi and enjoy the evening game drive at Mikumi National Park

After breakfast, go for a full-day game drive in the vast beautiful Mikumi National Park till evening. The Makata floodplain is an attractive point of the park where you can easily spot a large number of animals including elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs, impalas, and a large number of bird species. The vegetation of the region includes a savanna with acacia, baobab, tamarinds, and some rare palms. In this area, farthest from the road, are the spectacular cliffs of the Rubeho and Uluguru mountains.

In the morning, leave for Nyerere National Park and have a warm, kiwity lunch. A trip to Selous takes about 5-6 hours. Arrive at the afternoon boat safari along the mighty Great Luffy River. Boat safari brings close contact with hippos, crocodiles, and wonderful birds. Animals go drinking towards the river, and boats can approach riverbank elephants and waterbuck within a few meters. As the boat approaches, the crocodile slides into the water, and the hippo appears close, roaring and steaming.

After breakfast, another full day of game drives in the park. Nyerere National Park is the largest game park in Africa – 4 times the size of the SerengetiNational Park. It possesses a diverse landscape from hot volcanic springs, sporadic lakes, and channels from the Great Ruaha and Rufiji rivers. Nyerere National Park is Africa’s greatest park that covers a wide variety of wildlife habitats including Lakes, open grassland, Acacia, Miombo woodland, and riverine forests. The topography of the park varies from rolling savannah woodland, grassland plains, and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries. The Kilombero and Luwegu together cover the greatest catchment area in East Africa, which flows from north to south and provides the life-blood of Nyerere National Park. Sailing or Rafting down the Rufiji River is a superb way of seeing the animals very closely.

Early in the morning at 06:30 before breakfast start walking safari with an armed ranger with a walking guide for 2/3 hours, You will be led by a friendly guide who has extensive knowledge and experience of life in the bush. They will show you how to read the clues in the bush - a steaming pile of dug indicates an Elephant passed through not long ago. Walk in the huge wrinkled footprints for a while. Listen out for the chirps and trills of birds and the guide will help you identify them. Listen and you may hear alarm calls indicating the presence of a predator nearby. Feel the pace of your heart quicken as you slowly, quietly come quite close to a herd of Elephants under careful instruction from your guide. You suddenly realize just how big an African Elephant is.
Back to the Camp for lunch then depart for the Dar es Salaam Arrive in Dar es Salaam and drop off at your Hotel/Dar Ferry or Dar es Salaam airport
